Hi everybody! Since I got to playing this evening - and took WAY too many pictures for my own good - have the first update of Generation 3 of our wee Round Robin.
{+61 pictures - you've been warned!}
Our boy Spencer has been Laura'fied and added to Perpetua Vale, my current custom 'hood. And yes - I derped and completely mispelled his surname. ._. He moves into a small, but colourful starter lot which boasts a fully-furnished living space and a modest pond.
But enough about that! How has the transition treated our current heir?
Pretty well it would seem... if only he could smile or, you know, not actively scowl at the camera.
Much better. Gosh, he looks so happy.
'Look, I have an arm. An arm!'
Indeed. I haven't tweaked him too much from his previous incarnation - only, my defaults are a little maxis-matchy. I ended up switching out his eyes for some dominant custom ones I have - mostly because, with my brown eye defaults, he looked like Emmet Cullen's long lost brother. When it comes to passing on the Gen. 4 heir, I'll make sure to remedy this, should they inherit his brown eyes.
The remainder of this update is Walkbys: The Musical!
I swear: whoever made my naming mod was having a laugh. See this also.
Between the name and the unusual looks, this guy is a bit of an attention seeker. He didn't like it when Spencer was distracted by this lovely townie.
Spencer's LTW is fairly handy: Graduate 3 Kids from College. It means I didn't have to be choosy about the job he got. I opted for Medicine, with Politics and Architecture being the other posts on offer.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present the World's Girliest Kitchen. Spencer has no table or chairs to speak of, hence why he's stuck eating in there.
See what I mean? Greet ALL the walkbys!
All but the crazy elf lady were townies, yet none of them really appealed to Spencer except the brunette in the last picture. I had him roll bi, suspecting he would inherit Aminat's pickiness when it came to picking a mate - but none of the lads piqued Spence's interest either. Sigh. Here we go.
At this stage, there was quite a party in swing at the legacy lot.
But the only person scoring was -
- Mr. Redhead.
You have got to be kidding me.
Even Spencer finds this guy attractive...
...albeit grudgingly.
When Ginger Purple Girl started making herself comfortable, I knew it was time to ship the whole lot of these guys home.
Before that though, I had Spencer squeeze in a bit of flirtation with Purple Tracksuit here. She didn't brush him off, at any rate.
And so, to bed. In terms of spouse hunting, it could hardly be called a productive day's work - but eh. Tomorrow brings new opportunities - and fresh walkbys.
First day at work, and Spencer doesn't exactly look... elated.
When he got home though, he met some lovely walkbys. The red-head, he wasn't all that attracted to, but the brunet (unsurprisingly; brown hair is a turn on for ol' Spence) sparked two bolts. Also get this: his name is Hercules. I'd marry him in, for the lulz his name alone would bring.
The rest of the day was a bit of a bust; the townies were preoccupied by the pond, and the only thing Spencer had any luck with was the penguin.so cute
He did manage to afford a nice set of dining furniture though.
A promotion lead to the purchase of a chessboard. Playing faces are way too under-rated.
MOAR walkbys. You haven't seen the end of them yet! I'd love if Cheetah Dude could be a part of this legacy but alas - there was no bolts. Spencer definitely wasn't oblivious to Tracksuit Girl #2 however.
Spencer's TV had broken and, since he had a surprising amount of cash, I reckoned it was better to call a repairman than risk electrocution.
When this dame showed up with that face though... *gulp* What harm could a small electrical shock do, hmm?
She then proceeded to beat seven shades of crap out of the poor TV. Kids, this is not how you handle faulty electronics.
If she wasn't an elder, I'd so marry her in - bolts or not bolts.
Another pretty brown-haired walk-by.
(Also, the pond seems to have attracted a Smurf.)
I've finally cracked the secret of the FT hobby chance card: always choose the answer that seems least logical.
Another promotion! We're moving on up now~
I decided to throw a little party, inviting over the three people Spencer had the most bolts for. Only one accepted the invite. Heh, that's their problem. When they see what they're missing out on, they'll realise their mistake.
...That nose, you guys. Ted certainly left his mark on this legacy! I wonder will Honor here (yep, that's her name) have the same fate.
Welp, she's certainly having some impact on Spencer!
O hai thar, ACR. I was wondering when you'd kick in. Ahem.
Their date ended happily (so to speak) and so, Honor is definitely in contention to be the Gen. 3 spouse. But will she? Won't she? Who knows? There's definitely wackier townies around, that I wouldn't mind Spencer getting to know...
I leave you then, with further proof of Spencer's career prowess. Hopefully I'll get another, more fruitful update up soon - but I hope this served as a good introduction to Gen 3, and as an indication of what's to follow!
